Pyrex Vision - Youth Always Wins Lookbook 2013
A Team With No Sport is a roughly six-minute film from 2012, created around the launch of Pyrex Vision. It features members of the emerging A$AP Mob wearing Abloh’s altered garments while occupying an empty New York space. The film uses Joy Division rather than conventional hip-hop as its soundtrack, creating an intentionally strange collision between New York youth culture and European post-punk.
The most important part: the youth
Virgil later explained that the film wasn't really about showing off clothes. He wanted to capture the energy of young people in New York and the community forming around them. He described it as a way of documenting a generation and its culture rather than simply presenting fashion.
